Before you start reading my other posts and pages, you might be interested in finding out a bit more about me. So, here goes!
My name is Maryann, and I am a 30-something mum of three daughters – 9, 6, and 21 months. I work as an Archivist, and I write. I struggle to balance everything, and never quite feel like I’m doing enough. I have the deepest, strongest desire to raise my children to be confident, resilient and happy – this is easier said than done, of course!
My children are all completely different, and they need me in different ways. This has taken me a long time to realise and accept, but I’m gonna keep trying, and I would love if you and your children could join us.
There are pages on here for you as parents, carers and teachers, but there are also plenty of pages and content which is aimed directly at children. I have spoken to my 9 year old about this website and she has given me ideas and opinions – oh boy, has she given me opinions!
